The internet experiences about 100 billion clicks per day. It Contains approximately 55 trillion links between all of it’s pages. There are 1 billion pc chips on the internet, 2 million emails and 1 million im messages sent every second. The internet is so large that it takes 5% of the worlds electricity to keep it going. Now with all of that said the entire internet is equivalent to one human brain. So in 30 years from now the internet will be equivalent to 6 billion human brains.
The changes that are taking place in Web 3.0 semantic search technology are amazing. Google is indexing the world from it’s search results to it’s maps and they have launched a free GPS navigation system for it’s android software platform mobile devices. Semantic search will gather data not so much based on keyword searches but more of answer based and relevant content.
